A Note From The Artist
Assalamu Alaikum,
Alhamdulillah, Allah has blessed me with years of being able to produce art which represents the beauty of Islam in a contemporary manner, but furthermore, be a voice within the community and on global platforms to speak tot he world about what my art represents. During the time I was inspired to create my own art form of Arabic calligraphy, there was a lot of islamophobia with in the media which represented Islam in a way that was true. In addition to this, Muslims I knew began feeling inferiority about their faith and how they looked.
I take great pride in my name, which is Husam Uddin Ahmed (The Sharp Sword Of Deen and The Praised One). I have always felt a strong connection to my name and what I should be representing. I knew whilst studying Islamic theology that I had to put a message out there on what Islam really is and who we really are as Muslims, which is why I turned my graffiti artwork into Islamic graffiti. Spreading a message to the youth, that Islam is not something of negativity but rather a positive tool to carry with you throughout life’s journey.
Now, I create art as a hobby and livelihood, appreciated for its uniqueness and elegance, as a professional Graphic designer with more than a decade of high-level experience and countless hours of practising and writing Islamic scripture as well as Arabic calligraphy. With all this experience, I now produce Islamic wall art, such as Islamic prints, canvases and personalised items.
The greatest satisfaction I give my audience is knowing that all of my art is hand-written and authentic, which means, that my pieces cannot be replicated or produced by any other artist in the world apart from myself.

His designs have earned recognition from a diverse audience, including politicians, celebrities, and renowned lounges and restaurants in Birmingham and London.

He has sold over 300 hand-painted canvases, created more than 100 different prints, painted 15+ murals, and decorated numerous homes and mosques. His vast experience and passion for art, design, and graphics are evident in every piece he creates.
Furthermore, till this day, Alpixel takes on the challenges of the world and still speaks for freedom through art. We are focused always focused on highlighting events around the world which we deem important. Most of our inspiration comes from humanitarianism and our passion to stop the suffering of all humans.
This is what originally started the Caligraffiti mission.
